Our bright, spacious hall is approximately 45 x 30 feet in size and can accommodate 80 people for a sit down banquet and with up to 100 people for a meeting. It has laminate flooring, and is ideal for family gatherings, small functions, fitness/dance classes, music events and meetings. WiFi and a drop down video screen is available. We have a large commercial kitchen with two stoves, double wide cooler, dishwasher and ample counter space.
RENTAL RATES EFFECTIVE April 2, 2024
HALL ONLY: (tables & chairs included):
Commercial/business, private functions: $65.00 per hour, or $440.00 per day over 8 hours.
Registered non-profit groups: $55.00 per hour or $350.00 per day over 8 hours.
A special rate of $25.00 per hour may be considered for some charitable fundraising events, or $200.00 per day over 8 hours depending on nature of event.
KITCHEN ONLY:
Commercial/business, private functions:
- with use of stove and /or dishwasher: $55 per hour
- with use of countertop, cooler: $45 per hour
- with use of cooking pots, roasting pans etc: extra $5 per hour
Registered non-profit groups:
- with use of stove and /or dishwasher: $45 per hour
- with use of countertop, cooler: $35 per hour
- with use of cooking pots, roasting pans etc: extra $5 per hour
Renters preparing food for public events such as community markets and festivals must obtain required VIHA approval.
COMBINED HALL (with tables/chairs) & KITCHEN:
Commercial/business, private functions:
- with use of stove and /or dishwasher: $85 per hour
- with use of countertop, cooler: $75 per hour
- with use of cooking pots, roasting pans etc: extra $5 per hour
Maximum of $500.00 per day over 8 hours.
Registered non-profit groups:
- with use of stove and /or dishwasher: $60 per hour
- with use of countertop, cooler: $55 per hour
- with use of cooking pots, roasting pans etc: extra $5 per hour
Maximum of $400.00 per day over 8 hours.
NOTE:
All parties wishing to rent St. Nicholas Hall are required to sign a written contract and provide a security/damage deposit of $250.00 (without use of alcohol) to $350.00 (with use of alcohol). A key deposit of $10.00 is also required. Rent is payable at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event. Any cancellation within 2 weeks of the scheduled event may result in forfeiture of the security deposit weeks if another prospective renter was interested in the same time period. Renters wishing to serve alcohol at their event, whether by charge or no charge, are required to obtain a Special Occasion License and also to purchase Alcohol Liability insurance through St. Nicholas Church’s insurance carrier, Capri Insurance. The fee for alcohol liability insurance is $93.00, payable at the time of signing the rental contract.
